Raleigh Expedition in Nepal

It’s been much harder to pinpoint the value of this trip to me than I originally thought. The trek showed me that I am capable (both physically and mentally) of much more than I thought I was; I learned a lot about people, due to the closeness of my various teams; I learned a lot about Nepal and its people and its culture; I learned about the frustrating parts of organisations, but also the good parts. Also, in a cliche way, I learned how lucky I was on the most basic level, due to the absolute poverty of so many of Nepal’s people.
